اللجنة الوزرية تُطالب المجتمع الدولي بالتدخل الفوري للضغط على إسرائيل للوقف الفوري لعدوانها وانتهاكاتها
تعرب اللجنة الوزارية المكلفة من القمة العربية والإسلامية الاستثنائية المشتركة بشأن التطورات في قطاع غزة عن إدانتها واستنكارها للغارات التي شنّتها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية على قطاع غزة، وقصفها المباشر لمناطق مأهولة بالمدنيين العزل، أسفرت عن مقتل وإصابة مئات الفلسطينيين، والتي تشكل انتهاكاً واضحاً لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار ولقرارات الأمم المتحدة وللمواثيق والمعاهدات والاتفاقيات الدولية والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وتؤدي الى تفاقم الأوضاع الإنسانية المتدهورة في القطاع، وتشكل تهديداً وضرراً إضافياً على الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، وتصعيداً ينذر بتوسع الصراع الإقليمي، ويقوّض الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق التهدئة والاستقرار بالمنطقة.
وتجدد اللجنة مطالبتها للمجتمع الدولي بالاضطلاع بمسؤولياته الأخلاقية والقانونية والتدخل الفوري للضغط على إسرائيل (القوة القائمة بالاحتلال) للوقف الفوري لعدوانها وانتهاكاتها والامتثال لقرارات الأمم المتحدة وللقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وحماية المدنيين الفلسطينيين من آلة الحرب الإسرائيلية الجائرة، وإلزام إسرائيل بإعادة التيار الكهربائي في غزة، وفتح كافة المعابر لضمان دخول المساعدات الإنسانية بشكل موسع ومستمر إلى مختلف أنحاء القطاع الذي يعاني من كارثة إنسانية غير مسبوقة.
وتؤكد اللجنة في هذا الصدد الحاجة الماسة إلى وقف دائم ومستدام لإطلاق النار ووقف التصعيد الإسرائيلي واستئناف الحوار والعودة إلى المفاوضات، من أجل تنفيذ جميع مراحل اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، وصولاً إلى إنهاء الحرب على قطاع غزة، والحيلولة دون العودة لدوامة متجددة من العنف.
وتجدد اللجنة موقفها الثابت الذي يؤكد على أهمية تحقيق سلام عادل ومستدام للقضية الفلسطينية في إطار حل الدولتين ومبادرة السلام العربية وفقاً لقرارات الأمم المتحدة وللقانون الدولي والمعايير والمرجعيات المتفق عليها، وضمان حماية الحقوق المشروعة للشعب الفلسطيني، بما في ذلك إقامة دولته المستقلة على خطوط عام 1967 وتجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
وتضم اللجنة، التي شُكّلت بتاريخ 11 نوفمبر عام 2023، في عضويتها وزراء خارجية كل من جمهورية مصر العربية، والمملكة العربية السعودية، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ودولة قطر، ومملكة البحرين، والجمهورية التركية، وجمهورية إندونيسيا، وجمهورية نيجيريا الاتحادية، ودولة فلسطين، والأمينين العامين لجامعة الدول العربية ومنظمة التعاون الإسلامي.
Statement by The Ministerial Committee Assigned by the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit on Gaza
The Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit on Gaza, expresses its condemnation and denunciation of the raids launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, and their direct bombardment of areas populated by unarmed civilians, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Palestinians. These raids constitute a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and a violation of UN resolutions, international charters, treaties, agreements, and international humanitarian law, which exacerbates the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, and poses a serious threat to the security and stability of the region, and an escalation that increases the threat of a wider conflict in the region, undermining the efforts to deescalate tensions and achieve stability in the region.
The Ministerial Committee reiterates its demands to the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities and to immediately intervene to put pressure on Israel (the occupying power) to immediately cease its aggression and violations, comply with UN resolutions, international law and international humanitarian law, protect Palestinian civilians from Israel's unjust war machine, obligating Israeli authorities to immediately and fully restore Gaza's electricity supply, and open all crossings to ensure a continuous and expanded flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza, which is suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
In this regard, the Ministerial Committee affirms the urgent necessity of a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, end the Israeli escalation, resume dialogue, and ceasefire negotiations for the implementation of all the stages of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, ultimately ending the war on Gaza and preventing a return to a renewed cycle of violence.
The Ministerial Committee reiterates its steadfast position on the importance of achieving a just and sustainable peace for the Palestinian cause within the framework of the two-state solution and the Arab Peace Initiative in accordance with UN resolutions, international law and agreed parameters, and ensuring the protection of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 lines and the embodiment of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The committee, which was formed on November 11, 2023, includes the foreign ministers of The Arab Republic of Egypt, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, The State of Qatar, The Kingdom of Bahrain, The Republic of Türkiye, The Republic of Indonesia, The Federal Republic of Nigeria, The State of Palestine, as well as The Secretary General of the League of Arab States and The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
